Privacy policy
Draft for the Pipit pilot. A solicitor must review this page before Pipit is offered to the public.
This explains what Pipit stores about you and your business and who can see it.
What we store
- Your name, email address and sign-in details.
- Your business's team list, expenses, receipts (photos and PDFs), claims and the history of who did what.
Who can see it
- People in your business see only what their role allows: submitters see their own expenses and claims; owners and bookkeepers see the whole business.
- Other businesses can never see your data.
Receipt reading
If you choose "Fill in from the receipt", that receipt is sent to Anthropic's API so its text can be read. Nothing is sent unless you ask.
Where it is kept
In a database and file store hosted in Ireland (EU), protected by access rules and encryption in transit and at rest.
Keeping and deleting
You can close your account at any time from Settings. Your past expenses and claims stay with the business, which needs them for its financial records; your name is removed. An owner can delete the whole business, which permanently removes everything in it.
